Time Rules

Hi everyone how are you all I hope you are enjoying the sunshine
I have been busy with my proper job at the moment
so haven't had time to do much blogging.

This piece is a mix of the lovely Tim Holtz stamps and some
la blanche stamps.

I used distress inks in vintage photo scattered straw and
 stormy sky

I used the alterations cogs die to cut out the gears which I
treated with a mix of embossing powders to create a
eroded metal look.

A small piece of garden sacking underneath the cogs.

Metal cogs from my stash

The clock from stampers anonymous and the compass
layered on top of each other.

Two tags washed with vintage photo then areas highlighted
 with stormy sky distress inks

Burlap ribbon placed along the bottom.

Film strip and small bingo fades brushed with treasure gold.

That's all from me! Thank you for taking the time to stop by,
please feel free to leave you comments.
Happy stamping
See you soon

Clocks & Cogs

Hi everyone! I have another piece I would like to share with you tonight

Card was cut out and Tim Holtz alterations on the edge Die
was used to cut out the top and bottom.

Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw, Frayed Burlap,
Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Broken China
were blended onto the card.

Stampers Anonymous Papillon plate the script stamp
was stamped randomly over the card
in various colours of distress ink.

I took a small white tag and coloured it with Scattered Straw and
Vintage photo them I took a wet sponge and washed the tag
 so the colours blended.

Once dried I used the sponge from the first tag to go around the edges
to give a hint of green.

Next I inked up Lablanche Thistle collage and one clocks and cogs with
black archival ink.

On another piece of card that had been cut with the same die as the first,
I stamped the flourish from Tim Holtz  plate in iced spruce distress ink.
Then I gently sponged iced spruce and a small amount
of scattered straw around the edges of the main card.
I then blended iced spruce around the edges of
where the small tag will go.

I got a small paint brush and rubbed it over the broken china ink pad
then applied it to the inner of the clock faces.

Bingo texture fades numbers were coloured with brass rub on.
small cogs and flourishes were  attached.

Three Brads were fixed down the right hand side.

Thanks for popping by and taking the time to read my blog.

BUTTERFLY

I made this card using the following Fresco Finish chalk acrylic paints,

Moonlight, snowflake, pansy, eggplant, little black dress and crackle glaze,
Grunge paste.

Firstly i put the grunge paste through a memory box stencil then dried with a heat gun.

I then painted the entire surface with little black dress and eggplant paint.

I then put a layer of crackle glaze over the untexturized part, once dry I then painted  the whole surface with a mixture of moonlight, pansy and snowflake.

I mixed a bit of snowflake with water in a mini mixer and sprayed, I then used glimmer mist sprays in
rum raisin, juniper and sea glass. I stamped the butterfly onto sprayed card in faded jeans distress ink and out lined the butterfly with crackle accents.

I then cut out the butterflies and fixed them to the board with hessian underneath I  glued on some embellishments and mounted it onto a card.
