Boulder Bling

Hi everyone hope you are all busy crafting away, I have done a piece today
that I am going to enter into the challenge over on the Paper Artsy blog.

I did this panel with Jo Firth Christmas stamp's and a sweet poppy snowflake
 stencil.

The project that got me to make this was the gift folder with
Sarah Neumann and electrica stamps.

I really liked the colours in this post so I thought I would do a post with
these colour's in mind.

Thats how it started and then as with all my pieces it took on a world of its own.

As with all of my pieces I added texture and I stamped the boulders
onto tissue paper.

I put texture paste through the sweet poppy snowflake stencil.

The holders were painted from behind in hint of mint and snowflake

I put clear embossing powder over the paint and heat set.

This gave the impression of snow balls melting i quite liked the effect.

Onto the snowflake's I painted with watered down plum and marlin.

Also turquoise was used but they were all diluted down so as not to overwhelm
the illusion of snow.

I swiped the slate over the texture paste that had been put down the sides.

I then swiped with hint of mint.

I added bits of bling from my stash.

treasure gold whitefire was used to highlight the texture.

I hope you all enjoyed my post.

Here is the link back to the original post and colour scheme that I used

Thank you all for popping by please feel free to leave a comment or two,
as this is food for my art.

A very special 21st

Hi everyone I hope you are all OK I have a card for you today.
this card is really quite simple to make I used the main
image off the Lynne Perrella stamp collection
LPC030

I coloured card with Dylusions sprays in the following colours
Cherry Pie, pomegranate seed, chopped pesto,
ground coffee, slate grey and spritzed
with a bit of water.

I then choose the bit of card that I liked the most and I then
stamped the image with black vera fine and used clear
                                                        embossing powder then heat set.

I used media fluid paint in gold to highlight area's of the main image.

Brass brads were used on each of the corners.

Tim Holtz Numeric CMS161 stamps were inked up with embossing
ink and stamped on to black card then gold embossing powder
was used twice and some lava Black cosmic shimmer
Ultra Thick embossing Crystals were then
sprinkled on.

I used a gold paper I had in my stash to back it all onto.
I hope you all liked the card today. Thank you for
taking the time to stop by and please feel free to
leave me a comment or two.

Paisley Card.

Hi everyone I would like to share with you a card that is
very feminine and girly for me.

but every now and again I like to do a girly card.

This was painted and then stamped with Lavina stamps.

Texture paste was put through Tim Holtz stencil before
being painted.

Glitter paste was put through a stencil on different parts
of the board well its actually a beer mat.

Shabby White frontage was sprinkled on and heat set from
underneath.

A close up of the embossing.

The texture paste was highlighted with treasure gold
pewter.

The toadstool heads were stamped onto white card then
washed with various coloured paints.

A large bead was placed in the centre of the texture paste.

The out side of the toadstool heads were edged with embossing
fluid and shabby white embossing powder was
applied and heat set.

Another close up.

pearl gel was used to highlight some of the platter.

A piece of silver backing paper was placed under the beer
mat before being fixed onto the card.

Vola finished card. I hope you all enjoyed this post thank you
for stopping by. Please let me know what you think as
your comments are what helps me create. I hope
you have a great creative weekend.

Book Of Halloween Little Book 3

Hi everyone here is the third and final part to the

All supplies can be purchased through the artistic stamper
please see the list over on the original blog

The front covers are gray board put through a machine with the Poison
Texture fade. I coloured this with Prussian Blue, english red oxide, burnt sienna ,
Carbon Black, Gold  and interference gold Deco Art Media Fluid Acrylics Range.

I didn't put the put any antiquating cream on this as I loved the
effect that the iridescent gold  gave to the cover.
Have I said yet how I really LOVE!!!! this
range it is just amazing.

I coloured three tags with distress ink in the following colours Old paper,
Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo,
Black Soot and Faded jeans. Once coloured I spritzed lightly
with water to activate the ink.

I rolled out Fimo clay and stamped the skull from the Tim
Holtz apothecary set and the Happy Halloween.

This is a close up of the inside of the covers. and one and
a bit of the inside pages.

Once I had baked the clay in the oven I used the the antiquating
cream in patina green and a touch of white. I highlighted
the peaks with treasure gold.

Using the stamps from the Tim Holtz classic plate I used
the compass stamp and stamped randomly over the
page.

The stamps used on these two pages are off the halloween plate
and the classic plate the bats are off the blueprint plate. The
circles are covered in gilding flakes and surrounded
by small beads.

This page has the compass from the indigo blue plate
stamped into black Fimo clay then coloured with antiquing cream
then highlighted with treasure gold.

Bats done the same way with Fimo clay diamante surrounded
with small beads. Long strip of clay stamped with the
 lost coast bubbles stamp.

Indigo blue stamp die cut cogs and pale blue diamante
bead placed in the centre.

A close up of the same piece.

Another close up of the second page.

The Cob web was made by using my hot glue gun and free hand running the
hot glue into a web. I then highlighted with treasure gold. Then Prussian
blue Brusho sprinkled lightly then gently spritzed with water.

The Tomb stone was from the blueprint stamps using
Fimo clay again. I also used Frantage embossing
powders in shabby white.

Another photo of the bat, spider and web

Inside the back cover without the brusho but brushed with
treasure gold.

Filigree corner coloured with antiquing cream and knocked back
again treasure gold was applied.

The back cover I stamped the writing from the halloween plate
into black Fimo clay and backed in the oven once cooled
I used the antiquating cream in the verdi and then
highlighted with treasure gold.

This is the bat from the blue prints set stamped into the Fimo clay and
highlighted with treasure gold. I used my bind it all machine to
compile the book.

That's it folks I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as
I enjoyed making it. Thank you for stoping by and please
feel free to leave a comment or two.
