This fabulous horse is no longer with us, this was the kindest racehorse ever.

he was trained by #jonjooneillracing.

I used pastel on pastel matt card to create him.

My Pastel Horses

Hi everyone I thought I would show you all what I have been up to.  I got into pastels in April 2023

after doing a community project with my local council and meeting a pastel animal portrait artist called Paul Hinks.

I investigated pastels, pastel pencils, and another obsession was born I could combine my love of horses and my art.

This was my stall at my sons village fair lovely day. in 2019 I was diagnosed with a large brain tumour which was successfully removed in 2019. I was very lucky to have my art to help me through recovery and to have the ability to still do art.
