BUTTERFLY

I made this card using the following Fresco Finish chalk acrylic paints,

Moonlight, snowflake, pansy, eggplant, little black dress and crackle glaze,
Grunge paste.

Firstly i put the grunge paste through a memory box stencil then dried with a heat gun.

I then painted the entire surface with little black dress and eggplant paint.

I then put a layer of crackle glaze over the untexturized part, once dry I then painted  the whole surface with a mixture of moonlight, pansy and snowflake.

I mixed a bit of snowflake with water in a mini mixer and sprayed, I then used glimmer mist sprays in
rum raisin, juniper and sea glass. I stamped the butterfly onto sprayed card in faded jeans distress ink and out lined the butterfly with crackle accents.

I then cut out the butterflies and fixed them to the board with hessian underneath I  glued on some embellishments and mounted it onto a card.

Time After Time

The above piece was developed by painting lots of different layers of paint, and different types of paint eg fresco finish with distress paints.
And lots of different clock stamps from different manufacturers.

Firstly I painted a number ten tag with fresco finish limited edition eclectica then I used distress paints aged mahogany, iced spruce.

I then stamped a. Le Blanche stamp on the bottom and top right in black versfine  ink.
I then covered it with clear embossing powder and heat set. I then over painted with elephant, sage ,
lake wanaka, and snowflake.

I used a damp cloth to take back the paint in places so it was just a small amount of the image coming through. I then stamped stamper anonymous classics # 7 in the middle section in onyx black Versafine  and clear embossed. I then repeated the above process. I then sanded back in places to allow the colours underneath to peak out.

I then checked in my stash for various clocks as I tend to stamp a lot of different clocks on scrap /left over paper from previous projects. I raised a few so they would sit proud of the background.
I then arranged them all and stuck them down. Next I cut a piece of burlap ribbon along the bottom and secured it with copper screw brads added some gears.

Dragonfly's

I created this piece from using distress inks blended with blending foam. Tim Holtz dragon fly was stamped onto the tag with versfine black ink then clear embossing powder was used then heat set. A script stamp was used on the lower half.
The dragon fly wings were used from stamping onto scrap distress sustained card and the details in the wings outlined with crackle accents.
I sprinkled on antique white embossing powder over the surface of the tag bad heat set.
The material used was gauze coloured with distress stains and a coin placed on top, eye lets and gold brads were used on the top left hand side.

Cosmos

This piece was created by mixing puff paint and texture paste and aplying it randomly around the edges and heat setting it. This was then painted with distress paints and then sanded back. I then stamped with Tim Holtz stamp compass stamp and stamped the indigo blue compass stamp onto white card with black archival ink. The piece was then finished off with a piece of friendly plastic.
