been trying to recreate rust as I think it is truly beautiful from it's
aqua's and turquoise through to russet and copper tones.
So here we go lots of photo's
This was created with Deco Art's media range.
I have a collection of photo's of rust on my Pintrest page under inspiration.
from these photo's I have tried to recreate the natural effects of rust
I am very pleased with them.

Wow! Can't take my eyes off all this texture and rusty colour tones goodness, Dee!
Thank you so much for sharing all the wonderful close ups. Just had a wonderful dose of "worn and weathered"...which definitely made my day!
Hugs,

Wow Dee! You have done a splendid job of achieving the most glorious rusted colors and hues- and that turquoise is out of this world!
If someone had told me 20 years ago, I would love rust- well, I would think they were rather nutty!! teeheehee xo
Oh WOW! Gorgeous colours and textures. Jenny x
Love, love, love!!! xx
WOW i bet you are thrilled with those rusty BG's, they turned out amazing Dee! Takes courage to put stuff on top! I would keep and stroke! LOL
Blown away and jaw dropping is the only way to describe your play day with rust Dee. The crackle you just want to reach through the screen and stroke. The addition of the alcohol ink is the jaw dropping bit, how many wonderful warm tones have you got there.
MORE PLEASE!!! :-) xxx
As I love rusting techniques as well and also know that it can be difficult to achieve the rust effect, I have to say you blew me away! Awesome job and so cool! ~Niki
