Hi everyone Dee here with Junes steampunk inspiration
over on he SASPC Challenge blog.
I have gone for a vintage look this
month I hope you like it.
I used lots of Deco art products including chalky finish paint
starting with a couple of coats of serene on a
Tando Creative mixed media board.
Boozy bear picture frame treated with texture sand paste.
Painted with paynes grey followed with white
crackle paint. The inside was filled with
Deco crackle glaze.
Deco crackle glaze.
Coats of watered down burnt umber and quinacridone gold,
followed by touches of treasure gold.
La blanche stamp was used as the main focal point,
followed by a Tim Holtz Stamp & the word
photograph from it stamped across the base
and down the side.
A cream Prima flower with a pearl in its centre along with
a couple of metal cogs washed with very watered
down Prussian blue hue media acrylic.
Ideoligy film strip was run down the side.
Boozy bear clock was cut in half and treated with rust
powder and touches of copper treasure gold.
Finally seed beads were glued over the cogs on the bottom
cogs. That's it for today folks why not come and
join us in this months challenge.
You could win glorious prizes from both
Deco Art and Boozy bear.
Cheers Dee x

Sorry for being so late with commenting on this beauty, Dee! As always you have created a wonderfully timeworn looking and textural piece of art! Love it!
