Tim's clasic's butterflies

Hi everyone I thought I would try blogging on the move
We are  on our way to Cornwall and as usual Nick
Has managed to miss the turning of to Salsbury
and we are now heading to Southampton

Well I did this card in the week I took a craft tag and stamped the
Tim holtz  collage page stamp onto it with black archival ink.

I then highlighted areas with white gel pen Around the
edges I blended faded jeans distress ink.

I used a Tim holtz paper with butterflies on and coloured
these with red brick and spiced marmalade
Distress Staines .

Then I used rock candy distress stickles on the wings.

The rock candy picked up the colour of the butterflies

An gold triple embossed strip was used

Stick on and frame the butterfly name.

Tha dah! As Boots would say one card done. I hope you have
Enjoyed this half on the go blog.

Jo Firth card

Hi everyone! I have been quite lately but have had a bit of a play today,
and out of it came this card.

Firstly I put glitter paste through a circle stencil.

Once dry I painted a grey board square with Nougat and
 snowflake Fresco Finish paint.

I then introduced baltic blue and Mocha mousse, knocking it
back with nougat if it got to intense.

I then inked up the Jofy collection 09 plate with Ranger Archival

Once this was done I painted the buds with Claret and Rose Fresco
Finish Paint.

Taking a white gelli pen I then followed the lines and highlighted
the buds.

I put a bit of white fire treasure gold on my finger and highlighted
the glitter paste circles.

I poped this onto navy blue backing card then stuck it all onto
A square card.

Ta dah! all done hope you all enjoyed this simple card
Thank you for stoping by and please feel free
to leave me a comment or two.

Journey by Dee

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the weather for those of you
that are here in the UK.

Firstly I coloured a craft tag with distress ink in weathered wood
bundled sage and peacock feathers and a touch of
vintage photo, which I then ran it under a tap.

I cut out a piece of garden sack and coloured it with
little black dress Fresco Finish paint.

I then inked up a manila tag with tea dye, walnut and black soot
Distress inks. The compass stamp was stamped again on white card and a
diamante gem fixed to the centre.

The compass stamp was stamped again on white card and a
diamante gem fixed to the centre.

I inked up the compass stamp from indigo blu with vintage photo
and stamped it all over the tag also a Tim Holtz stamp from the
Steampunk plate. I applied Tim's tissue tape to the
bottom left of the  smaller tag.

At the top right there is a Lynne Perrella Collection 004 stamp
underneath the Tim Holtz Film strip. all held together by a
 antique copper eyelet and brad.also a s
crew brad in the hole at the top.

The Ballon is from a Indigo Blue set and the men from
Tim's steam punk set.

I have a cogs embossing folder and put black card through and
coloured with treasure gold.
I hope you all enjoyed my piece & please feel free
to leave me your comments don't be shy.
Thanks for taking the time to
stop by.

Vanitas by Dee Adams

Hi every one!
I wasn't sure I would get anything done this weekend

This Tag started out as a square and like all my pieces!!
it developed into something else.

I have just purchased the Tim Holtz Apothecary stamp
set so I wanted to play with it.

I sprayed the original square card with scattered straw Distress reinkers,
mixed with a small amount of water in a mini mister bottle then I followed with
iced spruce and a mix of mahogany and red brick

I stamped the skull image with versa fine and covered it with clear embossing powder,
which I then heat set.

I had the oriental poppy stamp from PSX, in my stash
and did the same with this stamp.

I stamped the poppy onto white card twice, spayed them
with the red brick mix, and cut out.

I the stamped the writing from the Tim
Holts plate at  the bottom.

Finally I added the bling from my stash to finish off.

I hope you all like this piece. Thank you for taking the time to stop by,
please feel free to leave a comment or two as I would love
to hear what you all think of my art.
Happy stamping
Dee

Time Rules

Hi everyone how are you all I hope you are enjoying the sunshine
I have been busy with my proper job at the moment
so haven't had time to do much blogging.

This piece is a mix of the lovely Tim Holtz stamps and some
la blanche stamps.

I used distress inks in vintage photo scattered straw and
 stormy sky

I used the alterations cogs die to cut out the gears which I
treated with a mix of embossing powders to create a
eroded metal look.

A small piece of garden sacking underneath the cogs.

Metal cogs from my stash

The clock from stampers anonymous and the compass
layered on top of each other.

Two tags washed with vintage photo then areas highlighted
 with stormy sky distress inks

Burlap ribbon placed along the bottom.

Film strip and small bingo fades brushed with treasure gold.

That's all from me! Thank you for taking the time to stop by,
please feel free to leave you comments.
