Time In Blue

A really big Hi! to all my lovely new followers and
the same for my old followers. this is going
to be very photo heavy post.

The blue looks radio active in some of the
photo's.

Of coarse, I have had to have a clock or two.

Firstly I covered a small canvas in cut out card that had been
embossed with a Tim Holtz texture fade.

I had Die cut the large tattered floral and fixed it to the canvas,
along with the clock again a Tim Holtz die.

I covered the whole canvas in gesso, then painted in a mix of stone and
lake wanaka and dried. The top left and bottom right
was covered in Deco Art Media Carbon black
Antiquing cream
which was knocked back once dry.

I covered over the panel with masking tape.
I then sprayed tattered angles
Glimmer mist in various
shades.

Of blue and green.

Once happy I then removed the masking tape
from the panel.

Which was then painted with a mix of  Bora Bora,
Space Cadet and Snowflake Fresco
Finish and

Clock was again the small pocket watch die from Tim Holtz
the outer frame gold embossed.  The stamp for the
clock face is from my stash.

Once the centre panel was dry I then stamped The main lady from
 Lynne Parrella collection 028.

A close up of the flowers.

I then stamped the middle piece of the panel with
another image of the same plate
and gold embossed.

And of coarse loads of treasure gold and Rub and Buff.

Well that's it for today thank you so much for
stopping by. Please feel free to leave
a comment as I enjoy reading
your feed back.
Happy Stamping!

Artistic Stamper BBQ's Make & Take

Hi everyone thank you for popping over to my blog.
At the weekend I went down to the Artistic
Stamper Anual BBQ which was a
Brilliant day.

They had various designers there including the very talented Jo Firth-Young, and
Mark Gould who were doing free Make 'N' Takes.

Well Mark Gould designs for Deco art paints and was demoing the new media
range they have very high pigment paints and antiquing cream sorry
if I haven't spelt it right.

Started of with the Prussian Blue Hue mixed dried and white antiquing cream
brushed over. Knocked back with a cloth.

Once home i used the the Medium grey around the edges and knocked back.
Dries then applied black soot and sealed with matt decoupage.

I die cut Tim Holtz heart and wings set and coloured with fresco finish paints.

Die cut an arrow and stamped a clock onto some chipboard.

I fixed a couple of metal embellishments to the top right.

So a very big thank you Mark and will defiantly be using this medium
in the future. great if you could leave me a comment
as I enjoy reading your feedback.
Happy Stamping.
